We met in Newport Beach California in 2021, introduced by mutual friends when Justin and his group came into town for the weekend. Our first interaction set the tone immediately. After waiting in line for nearly 45 minutes, Bailey and her friends were finally close to the front, only for Justin to arrive separately, walk straight up and charm the bouncer with a football story to get in instantly. (Line cutting has remained one of his skills.)
Once inside, we officially met and instantly hit it off. That night ended without a follow-up, but Justin felt something special. The very next weekend, he convinced his friends to return to Newport just to spend time together again. This time, Justin knew it was fate after Bailey ran a smooth post corner route that left him in the sand. (The catch is still under official review to this day.)
From beach football games to long conversations, especially Justin’s space and astrophysics lectures which Bailey listened to with genuine curiosity, the connection grew quickly. From that point on, we were inseparable.
Since then, life together has been filled with travel, laughter and shared routines that feel like home. We love exploring new places, especially bouncing from country to country across Europe and soaking in as much as possible along the way. Justin patiently listens as Bailey sings country music at full volume in the car, and Bailey happily rewinds movies anytime she looks away because watching and discussing every second together is part of the fun.
Justin proposed in Mykonos during our Summer 2025 Europe trip, completely surprising Bailey after secretly carrying the ring across Madrid, Ibiza, Mallorca and Athens. The proposal itself was perfectly planned, down to the surreal sunset, the resort staff and even the “spontaneous” taxi driver who was in on it the entire time.
Above all, we are most excited to continue being each other’s best friend through every season of life and to build a family of our own. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people who mean the most to us.
